We sculpture woollen forms and place them on a flat piece of needled or wet feltet wool. You can build the motif as far out from the bottom as you want and you model with help of the felting needle. We work with the soft sculptural felting, which means that only the surface of the forms are felted with the needle, while the inner stays soft. Working with this technique gives the opportunity of forming the motif during the whole process. We will work intuitively and learn how to use the technique by felting a face (mask) and its surroundings.
